Program Intern — Community Development

About the Internship

Sahyog Impact Collective is looking for a Program Intern – Community Development to support our work across education, livelihoods, youth development and inclusive community development.

The internship will provide hands-on exposure to social impact programme implementation, community engagement, research, documentation and Monitoring & Evaluation.

The intern will work with the programme team to support ongoing initiatives and contribute to activities across different stages of project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of community development programmes.

• Assist with activities related to education, livelihoods and youth development.

• Support community engagement and stakeholder coordination.

• Conduct secondary research on relevant development-sector themes.

• Assist with data collection and basic data analysis.

• Support Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) activities.

• Maintain programme trackers and project documentation.

• Assist in preparing reports, presentations and programme briefs.

• Document field activities, programme learnings and impact stories.

• Support workshops, consultations and community-focused activities.

• Strong interest in community and social development.

• Good communication and research skills.

• Comfortable working with data, documentation and presentations.

• Willingness to engage with different stakeholders and learn from field-level work.

Internship Details

Duration: 3–6 months
Work Mode: Hybrid
Location: New Delhi
Stipend: ₹10,000–₹15,000 per month
