Does it cost anything to apply?

Accepted Answer

No. Creating a profile, browsing every listing and applying are free for candidates, and always will be. We do not charge for applications, profile visibility or alerts.

Do I need an account to browse opportunities?

Accepted Answer

No — every listing is public and readable without signing in. You need an account only to apply, save an opportunity, set up alerts or register for an event.

How do I apply for a role?

Open the listing and choose Apply. Most roles ask for your CV and an optional cover note; if you have already uploaded a CV to your profile you can apply without attaching it again. Some organisations host applications on their own website, in which case you will see an "Apply externally" button that takes you there instead.

Why does an RFP or grant ask for different documents?

Because the applicant is usually an organisation or a consultant rather than an individual. For those, the organisation defines what to submit — a technical proposal, a financial proposal, a budget, registration documents — and you will see exactly that list, with the option to upload a file or paste a link for each.

How do job alerts work?

Save a search and we will email you when new matching opportunities are posted. The free plan includes one saved search with monthly delivery; Premium raises that to five with instant, daily or weekly delivery. You can change the frequency or delete an alert at any time.

How are opportunities matched to me?

Accepted Answer

Matching uses your skills, years of experience, location, preferred work mode and the impact areas you care about. Filling in Skills & preferences in your dashboard is what makes recommendations useful — without it we are matching on very little.

Who can see my profile and CV?

Accepted Answer

Your CV is private. It is shared only with an organisation you have actually applied to, and only for that application. Your profile is not browsable by employers, and we do not sell candidate data.

Question 9

How much does it cost to post an opportunity?

Accepted Answer

Posting is free. There is no cap on the number of opportunities an organisation can publish. Our paid work is consultancy — recruitment, monitoring and evaluation, documentation and capacity building — which is described on the Services page and is entirely separate from the job board.

How do I get my organisation verified?

Accepted Answer

Create an employer account and complete your organisation profile: registration number, registered address, official email and website. Our team reviews it manually. Until that review is complete your listings are held and will not appear publicly, so it is worth completing the profile in one sitting.

Why is my listing not showing publicly yet?

Accepted Answer

Almost always because the organisation has not been verified yet. New organisations are reviewed before anything they post goes live — that check is what lets candidates trust every listing on the platform. Once you are approved, listings publish immediately.

Question 12

My colleague already registered our organisation. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

Do not create a second one. Either ask them to invite you from Team in their dashboard, or start typing your organisation name at sign-up and pick it from the suggestions — that sends a request for someone already inside to approve. Either way you get your own login and you share one organisation profile, and you do not repeat verification.

Can I post a role that is hosted on our own careers site?

Yes. When creating the opportunity choose "Apply externally" and paste the application URL. Candidates see the full listing here and are sent to your site to apply, so nothing is collected on your behalf. You can also record where the listing came from and change the button wording.

Question 14

Can I ask applicants for proposals instead of a CV?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and for RFPs, grants and consultancies you should. When posting one of those you can list exactly what applicants must submit — technical proposal, financial proposal, concept note, budget, registration documents, portfolio — mark each required or optional, and choose whether it may be uploaded, linked, or either.

How do I manage applicants?

Every application lands in your Applicant Tracking board. You can move candidates through stages, rate them, add private notes, download CVs or submitted documents, message applicants and schedule interviews, and export the list to Excel.

Can I add colleagues to our account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Invite them from Team in your dashboard and choose their role — admin, recruiter or viewer. Each person signs in with their own account; only the organisation profile is shared.

I signed up with Google and cannot sign in with a password.

Accepted Answer

An account created with Google or LinkedIn has no password at all, which is why one never works. Either use the same social button you signed up with, or use "Forgot password" to set a password on the account for the first time — both reach the same account.

Question 18

I did not receive my verification code.

Accepted Answer

Check your spam or promotions folder first — that is where it usually is. Codes are valid for five minutes, so request a fresh one if it has been longer. If nothing arrives at all, contact us and we will look into delivery for your address.

Question 19

Can I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, from Settings in your dashboard. Your personal details are removed. Applications you have already submitted are kept by the organisations that received them, because those records belong to their hiring process.

Question 20

How do I report a listing that looks fraudulent?

Accepted Answer

Contact us with the listing link. Every organisation is verified before it can post, but if something still looks wrong we want to know — we review reports quickly and remove anything that should not be there. No legitimate employer on this platform will ever ask you to pay for a job.
