Partnerships & Outreach Intern

About the role
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Partnerships & Outreach Intern to support our efforts in building relationships with organisations, communities, institutions, and individuals working towards social impact.

You will get hands-on experience in partnership development, outreach, research, communication, and community building.

What you’ll do

• Research potential partners, organisations, communities, and relevant opportunities.
• Identify and reach out to potential collaborators through email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other channels.
• Draft partnership proposals, outreach messages, and follow-ups.
• Maintain and update the partnerships and outreach tracker.
• Coordinate meetings and follow up with prospective partners.
• Support campaigns, events, and community initiatives.
• Track outreach results and share regular updates with the team.

What a typical day looks like
Your day may involve researching new organisations, preparing personalised outreach messages, following up with existing leads, coordinating calls with potential partners, updating the outreach tracker, and brainstorming new ways to grow the organisation's network and impact.

Who we’re looking for

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
• Good research and organisational skills.
• Comfortable using Google Sheets, Docs, LinkedIn, and basic productivity tools.
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow up consistently.
• Prior experience in outreach, partnerships, community building, or sales is a plus but not mandatory.
