1. Objective & Scope

The Nexus Health Foundation is seeking comprehensive proposals from engineering firms, logistics companies, and tech innovators to design and supply ultra-portable, solar-recharged medical refrigeration units. These units will be integrated into our Project Horizon all-terrain mobile clinics to safely transport temperature-sensitive vaccines and diagnostic reagents across rugged, off-grid environments.

2. Technical Requirements

• Temperature Control: Must maintain a strict 2°C to 8°C environment for up to 72 hours without external power.
• Power Source: Built-in battery bank chargeable via flexible, high-efficiency solar panels or 12V vehicle outlets.
• Durability: Shock-resistant, dust-proof, and waterproof casing (minimum IP67 rating) suitable for extreme terrain.
• Connectivity: Integrated IoT sensors to broadcast real-time temperature, location, and battery status via satellite mesh networks.

3. Budget & Deliverables

• Phase 1 (Prototype): $50,000 USD for the delivery of two working prototypes within 90 days of contract award.
• Phase 2 (Deployment): Up to $450,000 USD for the manufacturing and delivery of 100 field-ready units upon prototype approval.
