Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Lead to lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of civil construction, repair, maintenance, infrastructure, and PMC projects across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on project execution experience, with strong expertise in civil/infrastructure project management, contractor and vendor coordination, project budgets, timelines, quality control, and stakeholder management. Experience working with NGOs, foundations, CSR organisations, or social-sector infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of civil construction, renovation, repair, maintenance, and infrastructure projects.
• Plan project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, deliverables, and milestones.
• Manage projects across multiple locations and coordinate with regional/project teams.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage contractors, vendors, consultants, architects, and other project partners.
• Monitor project progress against approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure effective project execution at ground level.
• Review BOQs, estimates, work orders, quotations, project budgets, and contractor deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, safety requirements, quality standards, and applicable compliance requirements.
• Track project risks, delays, dependencies, and issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, CSR partners, NGO stakeholders, government representatives, consultants, contractors, and other external stakeholders.
• Prepare and review project reports, progress updates, MIS, budgets, and documentation for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion, handover, and closure of projects.
• Support project planning, feasibility assessments, vendor selection, and cost optimisation.
• Travel extensively to project locations as required.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience in civil construction, infrastructure, repair & maintenance, PMC, or project management.
• Proven experience managing civil/infrastructure projects from planning through execution and closure.
• Experience handling contractors, vendors, consultants, budgets, timelines, quality, and project monitoring.
• Experience managing multi-location or multi-state projects will be highly preferred.
• Candidates with experience in NGOs, foundations, CSR organisations, or social-sector infrastructure projects will be preferred.
• Candidates should have substantial hands-on civil/infrastructure project execution experience, rather than purely programme, education, or community-development experience.

Location

Mumbai, Maharashtra
The role involves extensive travel across multiple project locations/states.

Compensation

₹15–18 LPA, depending on experience, skills, and suitability for the role.
