 📢 We’re Hiring | Communication Associate – Media & Communications
The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is looking for a dynamic and proactive Communication Associate – Media & Communications to join its Communications and Stakeholder Engagement (CSE) Area in New Delhi.
The role will contribute to strengthening TERI’s media outreach and public engagement, bringing the Institute’s research, policy insights and knowledge products to wider audiences across national, regional and digital media platforms.
🎓 Qualification & Experience
Qualification:
Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience:
3–5 years of relevant experience in media relations, journalism, corporate communications, public relations or strategic communications.
Experience with research organisations, think tanks, development sector organisations, government agencies or media organisations will be preferred.

Strong network across national, regional and digital media.
Demonstrated experience in media outreach and securing quality media coverage.
Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to simplify complex research and technical subjects for wider audiences.
Exposure to sustainability, climate change, energy, environment or public policy communication will be an advantage.
Knowledge of multimedia storytelling and media monitoring/analytics tools will be desirable.
