Future Full Of Forests Fellowship

Future Full of Forests Fellowship

The Future Full of Forests Fellowship (FFFF) is a leadership and capacity-building programme for emerging grassroots and on-ground conservation leaders across Northeast India. The fellowship supports individuals working at the intersection of people, nature, and local stewardship, with a focus on community-based conservation and sustainable development.

The programme is designed for practitioners involved or interested in community conservation, environmental education, ecological restoration, sustainable livelihoods, youth engagement, human–wildlife coexistence, and other place-based conservation initiatives.

Through immersive learning, mentorship, peer exchange, field-based learning, and hands-on application, the fellowship aims to strengthen participants’ skills, confidence, networks, and leadership capabilities. It particularly supports individuals already contributing to local conservation efforts who want to deepen their impact and grow as changemakers and team players.

The fellowship brings together practitioners, educators, scientists, editors, and other experts across key areas including communication and writing, inclusive conservation, and biodiversity from the ground up.
