Collaborate with Development Wala on recruitment assignments for NGOs, nonprofits, social enterprises, foundations and other development organisations.

Potential areas of engagement include:

• Supporting recruitment for positions within your own organisation, where relevant.

• Referring suitable hiring requirements to Development Wala.

• Collaborating on sourcing, screening and shortlisting candidates.

• Supporting interview coordination and candidate evaluation.

• Sharing sector insights to improve recruitment strategies and hiring outcomes.

2. HR Advisory and Consultancy

We welcome professionals who can share their expertise on specific HR and recruitment challenges faced by social sector organisations.

Depending on project requirements, this could include:

• Designing or improving recruitment processes.

3. Paid Mock Interviews and Candidate Mentoring

One of our key priorities is to help aspiring and early-career professionals prepare for recruitment processes in the social sector.

We are looking for experienced HR professionals and recruiters who would be interested in conducting mock interviews for candidates preparing for NGO jobs, fellowships, programme roles and other development sector opportunities.

As part of this initiative:

• Development Wala will connect you with candidates who need interview preparation.

• You can choose assignments based on your availability and area of expertise.

• Mock interviews can be conducted online at a mutually convenient time.

• You will receive remuneration for the time you invest, with the fee agreed upon before the session.

• Where appropriate, you may also provide constructive feedback and guidance to help candidates improve their interview performance.

There is no requirement to commit to a fixed number of sessions. You can participate whenever your schedule permits.

4. Knowledge Sharing and Sector Engagement

We are also interested in collaborating with professionals who would like to contribute to the wider social sector through:
