About the Consultancy

Sahyog Impact Collective is seeking an experienced Programme Monitoring & Evaluation Consultant to support the design and strengthening of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) systems across our social impact programmes.

The consultancy will focus on programmes working across education, livelihoods, youth development and inclusive community development.

The consultant will work closely with the programme team to strengthen measurement frameworks, data systems, reporting processes and learning mechanisms.

Scope of Work

The consultant will be responsible for:

• Review existing programme objectives, indicators and measurement frameworks.
• Develop or strengthen M&E/MEL frameworks for ongoing programmes.
• Develop appropriate indicators, tools and data-collection processes.
• Support baseline, monitoring and outcome measurement activities.
• Review programme data and identify trends, gaps and insights.
• Strengthen programme tracking and reporting systems.
• Support teams in using data for programme improvement and decision-making.
• Facilitate learning and reflection sessions with programme teams.
• Develop periodic MEL reports and presentations.
• Document programme learnings, outcomes and recommendations.

Desired Experience

We are looking for a consultant with:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in M&E, MEL, programme evaluation or research.
• Experience working with NGOs, development organisations, CSR programmes or social enterprises.
• Strong understanding of programme monitoring and outcome measurement.
• Experience designing data-collection tools and frameworks.
• Strong analytical, research and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with programme teams.

Consultancy Details

Duration: 6 months
Location: New Delhi / Remote-Hybrid
Engagement: Part-time consultancy

Estimated Consultancy Fee: ₹6–10 lakh for the engagement
